I am a sucker for a slow burn, but I have learned from my past. I wait til the gay has appeared and been AS endorsed before I start a show. Preferably the whole series is over before I start so I don’t have to worry about them fucking it up once I’m invested (looking at you Los Hombres de Paco).
Subtext and slow burn are definitely not what they used to be.
