Did this with Sadie. Our score is 420 lol. When I said “Gape” Sadie SHOUTED over her coffee, “HOLE!” Which was…incorrect.
10:47, with the last 15-20 seconds being me squinting at the puzzle trying to figure out what could possibly be ‘wrong’ and it was that, bafflingly, i used a 0 instead of an O in one square? why, self. happy saturday!
Still very trippy to have my brain fill in the “lol gay” answer to a clue (32-D, looking at you!) and then realize that no, in the AS crossword, I don’t have to figure out what a straight person would guess instead!

this was so fun and challenging. I was stuck in the second quadrant for a moment, and it was a delight— after going thru the alphabet in my head lol— to figure out the one letter that satisfies the clue and the words around it. I love this series.
