Every once in a while, I have to remind people I went to performing arts high school where I was a musical theater major. Just kidding. Within half an hour of meeting me, people can usually deduce I went to performing arts high school where I was a musical theater major (or, at the very least, they are not surprised when I do reveal it). Anyway, let’s all close our eyes and magically transport back to high school…you’re in the auditorium, school has ended for the day, it’s Tech Week aka Hell Week, and you’re off book, but something is existentially weighing on you…………(okay now open your eyes and take the quiz).

Tech Week aka Hell Week took me right back. I was never a musical theater major, but I did run the light board at my high school, quietly pining for the lead while pretending to check cues, so the quiz gave me stage manager and I feel seen. That backstage longing is probably why I fell for 14 Days With You, a visual novel all about someone watching from the wings. Off book forever, apparently.
Ensemble cast. That was actually true.
And yeah closeted gay bf but I’m bi and transmasc so I find it interesting that I was the only “girlfriend” he picked.
Why can Algebra not be fav class??
Why is everything in the locker about crushes, and why is nobody reading a non fiction/science book, only novels?
Sometimes AS feels like reading a girly magazine these days. It’s like my iq is dropping by being here, and that was never the case in the past.
I generally miss the tech, comic, science, in depth, more factual topics. The main focus seems to be on celebrities, relationships and emotions now. Autostraddle, the trad wife edition?? Please nooooo…
