Okay, yes, I’m still libbing out in the wake of Tuesday’s blue wave. I live in Florida but spent the last week in Texas, where the energy was extremely high and extremely positive. Also, don’t let the big country map fool you: Florida’s election results were far from a complete upset even if the Senate race still went red; several House seats were effectively flipped, and that Senate race was a hell of a lot closer than it has been in a very long time, which is especially impressive in the face of the extreme gerrymandering that has happened in the state. Anyway, let’s keep the blue wave going with a quiz dedicated to blue things. And let’s hold ALL politicians accountable in the coming years, especially when it comes to Palestine, to war, to the increasing strains on the working class, to voter suppression, and to trans rights and trans inclusion in sports, especially since several anti-trans ballot measures did pass this week in various states. There’s still a long way to go.
