Who’s got two thumbs and just bought a big-ass split-leaf philodendron for her living room??! THIS GAL. Hey on a related note, if you have tips for keeping a philodendron alive longer than a couple of weeks, please feel free to share. So far she seems to really like sitting next to the sofa and watching HGTV with me?

  1. “I bought a T-shirt that says Gal Pal on it”
Ya’ll this is the internet equivalent of the queer head nod. Samira Wiley is on the other side of the street acknowledging that we exist. She SEES us.

  2. Last night I had a nightmare about someone forcing me to watch the last two episodes of Orange is the New Black Season 4 (which I really am refusing to watch)…. it’s so nice to see Samira Wiley’s beautiful smile and hear about her excellent taste instead!

  3. I guess I should consider myself lucky I’ve never had that ridiculous Doctor issue. My doctor, who is male, asked me once of I was sexually active and then followed with “are your partners male or female?” Then he gave me a very competant rundown of what health issues were of particular concern for lesbians.

  4. “I Need the Help of White LGBT People to Protect My Black Body” is a good article–it makes good points, though I wish the author had been more concrete in terms of what she wants white LGBT to do in support–but, MY GOD, it has gotten some terrible toxic comments! So depressing.

  5. But, OMG SAMIRA HAS A GAL PAL SHIRT!!!

Does this mean we finally get the AS/ Samira interview that we have all been dreaming of?? I feel as if she keeps circling our orbit and gets closer and closer, but I’m still dreaming of her actual moon landing.

That said, I’ve always waffled back and forth about buying a gal pal shirt of my very own, but no more! Today is the day! Supporting my favorite website AND dressing like my favorite celebrity? All about that life.
