my middle school science teacher was a straight person who was not okay.
in the middle of class one day, he announced that his favorite band was “maroon four,” then insisted this was the correct name because “ONE OF THEM DIED!” (he yelled most of his declarative sentences.)
this was 2003, so we could only be mostly sure he was lying until we got to a class with computers.

Beige is the saddest colour. Funnily enough only a few days ago I was saying (in a room full of queer folks) that beige is a colour I’ve never worn & would never wear. Feeling quite validated here!
