Spokane Young Women Who Like Women is a social group for all women, though targeted for women 18-35, who are part of the LGBTQI community and attracted to women. We particularly welcome women who are marginalized within the LGBTQI community, such as trans women, women of color, women with disabilities and other similar groups.
We are a small group of queer/differently abled/radical women scientists who are coming together to march against Trump/sexism/racism/white supremacy/etc. Let me know if you want to meet up and march together or even debrief and get coffee while in DC! Straddlers unite!
We’ll be meeting at the Federal Building at 9 AM for the march to City Plaza — right down Virginia Street!
Gather at 9am, walk begins at 10am sharp! We will meet at Pershing Square and march to City Hall!

RainbowWeddingNetwork’s tour of LGBT Wedding Expos will kick off early in 2017, with a festive, informative 2nd annual event in Columbus set for January 29th. The event will be hosted by the Westin Columbus Hotel and will spotlight a diversity of screened, LGBT-friendly wedding and home-related vendors in an elegant and welcoming atmosphere. The afternoon will offer couples the opportunity to mingle with enthusiastic, experienced professionals, eager to help them bring together the details for their Dream Weddings. Food Samples, Trendy Planning Ideas & Raffle Giveaways will also be highlights of the event. The Expo is free for couples to attend, and all budgets are welcome. Friends, family, hetero- allies & other advocates of equal rights are welcome to join the celebration.
Let’s kick off 2017 by attending the home opener of the Naptown Roller Derby’s 11th season and then getting snacks/drinks at The Sinking Ship afterwards!

Austin Cares Homeless initiative is putting together care packages for folks experiencing homelessness the weekend of Jan 21-22. Since I know a few of us are interested in marching on Saturday, I thought we could get together on Sunday and do some work with our hands that can benefit folks in a more immediate way.
A new queer night for LBTQ community. There will be dancing, and queers having fun in a safe space. 21+ and older.
