Sunday Funday Was Born For Chani Nicholas’ New Book

Hello we’re here in the future, or I guess the present, how is it really 2020? Last weekend was my 13th birthday party as laser tag and it was exciting because it was boy girl even though the only boys I invited were my cousins (because gay)! And then literally yesterday, I was watching Totally Spies on Youtube and they time-hopped to 2025 and like, that’s SO SOON! Everything is happening too quickly, but I’m not panicking?!

+ As you may already know if you love your cinemá, the MCU will have a trans character soon!

+ Two seperate Autostraddle staff put this in Slack, so please don’t forget, Chani Nicholas wrote a book.

+ Heartwarming, viral coming out stories? Yes, thank you.

+ Solace is a new app coming out of Spokane to help trans people get the resources they need to transition.

+ Here babes, have a Buffy quiz.

+ The LGBTQ history curriculum in Illinois begins this year!!

+The Archive Has Spoken: A rare copy of a 19th century book seen by some as a foundation for gay rights was discovered at Hopkins.

+ Let’s all move to Kentucky! Louisville got a perfect score for LGBTQ support by the HRC for the 5th year in a row.

+ The Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics’ annual Dorian Awards full nomination list has been revealed.

+ Sam Smith says “Happy New Year! Gay Rights!!”

+ Here are the nonbinary babes to keep your fucking 👀on this year!

Okay, I love you all! Let me go feed Alexei so he’ll stop digging his claws into the SKIN ON MY BACK. I hope your first week of the year is filled with the joy of newness, and bright happy thoughts, and space to rid yourself of whatever you need to rid yourself of from 2019. And maybe a good audiobook??? I don’t know! Have fun, you deserve it!
