You guys had me worried for a second. Ginger Gonzaga will probably not be playing Patsy Walker, since she was played by Rachel Taylor on “Jessica Jones”. I was thinking that they were divorcing the Netflix MCU from the greater MCU.
The linked article says that, too! Quote: Gonzaga will portray the best friend of Tatiana Maslany’s Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk on the Disney+ series. In the comics, Walters is close friends with Pasty Walker, who has been played by Rachael Taylor on Netflix’s “Jessica Jones.” Though the Netflix show was produced by Marvel Television rather than Marvel Studios, it supposedly exists inside the Marvel Cinematic Universe — meaning Gonzaga will likely be playing a different character than Walker.
Maybe she’ll play Jessica Drew.
