I’ll say to you what I’ve been saying to all of my group chats for the past couple weeks: WATCH STERLING POINT! The new teen drama series from Megan Park (My Old Ass) is funny, smart, sad, romantic, sweet, and deep. It is well written and backed by wonderful performances. It’s essentially a show about the myriad ways parents can mess up their kids. Watch it, because I desperately need a second season of lakeside angst!!!!!

I got Annie, which is probably correct, though for different reasons now vs when I was a teen.
I really enjoyed the show, but I struggled a lot with the last episode. I was happy with where it ended up, but it kind of felt as though some of the character actions just got added to create additional drama and make room for a potential second season in a way that didn’t fit with the pacing for the rest of the show. Like, some of it made sense in the fact that sudden, dramatic actions are age appropriate for them, but they also didn’t make sense given how wealthy Annie’s family was shown to be.
