A former Brandeis undergrad, I’m a recent(ish) grad of the M.A./M.L.S. program at Simmons College, with a concentration in History and Archives Management, currently exploring history PhD programs (and trying not to worry too much about the terrible job market). After 10 years in the greater Boston area, I’m living at home near Charleston, S.C. again, hoping I don’t melt before the end of the summer. I’m a boardgame playing, Classic Mac loving, nonfiction reading nerd moonlighting as a tutor and genealogist. Friends describe me as weird, but assure me that I’m still loveable, even if they still don’t get my fascination with graveyards and old scraps of paper. On the home front, I’m generally pretty good at fixing things, and I enjoy cooking so much that I’ve all but ousted my Mom from her own kitchen. I share my twin bed with two sweet rescue tiger tabbies – Benny and Oliver.
