I decided to join Autostraddle because I know of no LGBTQ people in my area and feel a crippling need for a community I can be completely out in(I’m not out yet because my mother is a religious zealot and is letting me live with her for the moment and such).
Autostraddle has been doing independent queer journalism for 16+ years, and we rely on ad revenue to pay our gay team and writers. There are two ways to keep us going: let the ads through, or subscribe.
