Hey there, nice ta meetcha. I’m Rye, a nerdy genderfuid (femme/androgynous) trans woman, about a year and some change into transition to living the life I was supposed to live.

I was raised in an orthodox Mormon home, so everything queer about me was crammed into a tiny box and locked in the back of my mind. Long story short, that’s not the case any more. On ANY level.

I’m married to the wonderful straight cisgender woman who I gave my heart to 18 years ago, but because of my ongoing transition, at this point we’re more roommates and co-parents than lovers. Which sucks. But while I’m a lesbian, she’s not, soooooo… we’re still in the process of figuring out exactly what the implications are of that.
