I’m a 40-something post-op transsexual from the Houston transgender community. I’ve been working on trans social advocacy since the mid-1990s. While I get dragged into lobbying and protests, my passion isn’t political advocacy. I’m most comfortable working to address the practical barriers to a thriving community: jobs, housing, healthcare and HIV risk reduction. I ride a Harley Road King and am a member of Rebecca’s Army.
