About Me

About Me

I’m working on my MS in Computer Science and Systems at University of Washington Tacoma. I’ve transplanted myself from Washington, DC in order to experience this side of the country. I’ve heard the West Coast is the best coast. I’m here to judge haha. So far, I gotta say, it’s super rad and beautiful. I like the quieter side of life, generally: reading (books and things online, mostly found from Riese’s “Things I Read That I Love” column), listening to music, catching up on all the moving picture things I have yet to see… I’m also a huge fan of craft beer and coffee, so I’m super stoked to be checking out the myriad opportunities along those lines in the area.

What I Like

Favorite Books

Everything. Oh wait…
Lord of the Rings, any sci fi/fantasy, any kids’ books but especially Pigeon Finds a Hot Dog…
I like just about everything. Except maybe Grapes of Wrath guy…haven’t made it through that…
Harry Potter…duh.

Favorite Movies

Anything Pixar, Disney, Dreamworks… Outside of those, there are movies I like but I can’t remember titles. Well, ‘cept Pirates series and LOTR and Harry Potter.

Favorite Documentaries

American Dream. Go find it on documentaryheaven.com now. Go. It’s important.

Favorite TV Shows

Bones. The Office. The Rachel Maddow Show.

Favorite Music

Death Cab to Explosions in the Sky to Silent Rider to Skrillex to some radio/pop music. Pretty much anything but most country and most rap, but even there I’ll listen to it once at least.

Favorite Sandwich

None. I hate bread. Cereal.
