I’m a chemistry grad student, so I spend most of my time in lab learning how to cope with failure. Otherwise I’m cooking, reading, biking, starting craft projects I don’t finish, drinking hoppy beers or doing other activities to try to avoid thinking about chemistry.

I grew up in Boston and now I live in Michigan. I like the midwest so far, but it’s a little too flat. I went to a women’s college for undergrad, so being in a male-dominated field at a co-ed school has definitely been an adjustment.
