| About Me | I hate "About Me" sections. Describing yourself in the context of a small box is difficult. Um, I guess for the basics – I'm a college student majoring in Elementary Education, minoring in Women's Studies, and doing a concentration in Sociology. I feel like everything in my life is complicated including that last sentence. Basically, I want to change the lives of the kids I teach, and I also want to wreak havoc on society via social activism. Now, I just have to consolidate those two images. I have a beautiful, 3-year-old goddaughter. My life is oriented around my family & friends. I love, laugh, cry, sing, write, speak, scream, dream, hope, pray, work, play, & ultimately live. I'm quickly gaining a stronger sense of self. I have a lot to say whether you want to hear it or not. I am here to figure out my place in this crazy world and am determined make changes for the better as I move along. |
