VIDEO: Ladies Try To Endorse Romney, Fail, Laugh A Lot

The website Jest, which I hadn’t heard of until about 20 minutes ago, has produced a humorous video starring Upright Citizens Brigade comedians Anna Callegari, Sasheer Zamata, Langan Kingsley, Fran Gillespie and Shannon O’Neill as ladies screen-testing for a Pro-Romney video. They’re clearly at a loss for words when attempting to explain why a lady might vote for Mittens. You still have time to watch this video about 13 times before the debate on “foreign policy,” whatever that is, begins. The good news is that my nails are almost dry!

  1. ROFL.

Even though Obama should be guaranteed to get the women voters, overall I’m so nervous about this election. When Romney first stepped onto the scene I was pretty sure it was a shoo-in for Obama, but now I’m not so sure. Romney’s camp is fired up and going hard.

    I’m scared for real, y’all.

    • agreed. i always said i wanted to move to canada when my youngest turned 18. it may have to be sooner. because by then, women and minorities might not ever have the right to vote anymore, let alone get a passport. his ethics (actually, lack there of) are down right terrifying.

    • yes! I feel like a lot of people in europe also think it’s a sure win for obama because “there’s no fucking way romney can win after the infamous video, the binder incident, etc pp and the fact of him being an unworldly, asocial and rich capitalist. ALSO HEALTHCARE” but well idk, I think there’ve been a few successful idiots like him before. we have an election coming up as well (’13) but I’m waaay more afraid of the outcome of this one. romney will fuck w/ citizens on a personal/social level

    • That is really true. Liberals act like there is no way on the planet that Romney would ever win the election, but that’s because they’re looking at the opinions of their liberal feminist peers and not the Facebook statuses of their racist relatives from Alabama. If you look at the polls, Romney seems to actually have a chance. So I would advise progressive voters to stop prematurely gloating and actually try to change people’s minds who may be on the fence, because I have a feeling a lot of people’s current attitudes may turn swing voters off.

    • Yes. Unfortunately, I am surrounded by a ton of conservative Catholics where I work. I think many liberals would be surprised to find out how many WOMEN actually support Romney, let alone Americans in general. It is pure terror to realize that there are working-class, college-educated Americans (that have been or still are benefiting from government grants and loans)that will actually utter from their lips “Romney was right” when the 47% issue is brought up. It is really scary guys. They believe in these things and they believe it really hard.

  2. If Romney gets elected, America will regret it. He will not get re-elected.

We knew our first black president wouldn’t have it easy. He is fighting against so much.

  3. LOL at the woman who just laughs her ass off for a full 5 seconds.

That’s how I feel when someone asks if I would ever vote for Romney.

  4. Even absent the “binders” line, his answer to that question was really non-responsive. “I will consider hiring a woman if someone gets in my face about it” is not really relevant to the issue of equal pay.

Also, his damage control at the foreign policy debate last night wasn’t that great either. He would push for gender equality in the Middle East, which is nice, but considering that he’s shitty on gender equality in the US, it rings a little hollow.

Anyway, /rant. That video was hilarious!
