This Equality PSA Says Everyone Deserves Love, Dammit

Alex’s Team Pick

This PSA has been making it’s way around the internets and if you haven’t seen it yet, you should! It’s one of those things that will give you warm fuzzy feelings in your chest plate, and I’m not just saying that because I was in it with my girlfriend!

And guess who else is in it…Hannah Hart!

Really, though. It’s very well done (directed by Jen Rosenstein) and shows all kinds of families and relationships and the love/commitment that unites them. It’s inspiring. And so I share it with you:

Now all that’s left to do is wait for Mollie Thomas to win Miss California next year. #yaygay

I came out a year ago and went back in the closet. I want to feel like I deserve love but I don’t. I just feel like I’m worthy and I’m flawed. I can’t talk to girls and they don’t like me. My friends tell me I’ll meet that special lady someday but I doubt it. The only thing that bothers me is that I’m constantly dreaming that I will meet a girl. I hate going to sleep its giving me false hope. I’m always happy to others be happy but I don’t think I’ll have what this video encourages. I just want to be honest with myself. Everyone deserves love but me.
