The Lakeview Crew #10: Heavy Holidays

In a nine panel comic, Celeste accepts a call from her mother, who is inside Waterview Penitentiary. They exchange Christmas well wishes, even though they miss seeing each other. Emma's mom is relieved, at the least, that with Emma is safe from Covid at home. But Emma worries that her mother might contract the virus inside. Emma's mom cries a little, but tells Celeste not to worry. They only have a few minutes left, so Celeste's mom encourages her to change the subject — tell her about a new crush at school. Tell her everything!
