The Comment Awards Meets Good Samaritan

 width=

This week the wife and I broke down on the side of the road. We were at the very end of a 400 mile trip home from my parent’s house in Alabama. We’re new to the city and still have zero friends. I called my co-worker for a ride, but he was out of town. He must have called our boss because as we were googling taxi companies my boss drove up. It’s never super fun when your boss sees you in yoga pants and no bra and also meets your wife for the first time in yoga pants and no bra, but he did order us an Uber and paid for it and gave me the day off the next day. So even in this era of uncertainty and chaos, there are good people who still want to help people even if they don’t wear a bra.

This week on Autostraddle dot com there were lots of great articles written by humans who might or might not have been wearing bras.

Kaelyn looks at our favorite Chirstmas movies through a feminist lens.

Erin breaks down Cher’s best tweets of the year.

Cecelia went thrift shopping.

Tegan and Sara started a LGBTQ foundation and then met up with Carmen Esposito and Rhea Butcher. Clearly they are winning the holigay season.

In sadder news the Great British Bake Off is going off the air. Heather Hogan is crying in a corner somewhere.

And love is still a lie.

Also emojis! And comments!

  1. I went braless in a public place last week for basically the first time ever and it was honestly the best, most freeing feeling. Bren, you should talk more about bras! I’m sure Autostraddle people have many complicated feelings about them :)
