“The work I do is all about how we make peace with the body, our own and other people’s bodies. I can’t have that conversation without talking about my queerness, or my blackness, or my size, or my mental health, or trans issues, or disability. It’s about everybody’s right to be on this planet.”

Luckily, we were able to drown out our A-Camp sorrows over some retail therapy at the Mall of America, and a few drinks on Bourbon Street.
“4. Beaver cake.”
We were greeted with open arms, that sexy rasp, and the cutest little dog these cat lovers ever fell for.
“We started out single, and without a queer community in our cities. Now we’re together and traveling the country, largely thanks to our extended Autostraddle family!”
Sure enough, New York City wasn’t short on lovely homoqueers, breakfast pastries, and our new favorite brunch food, bagels!
Of course our trip to Boston wasn’t complete until we found MORE STRADDLERS!
