Happy Sunday friendly friends! I hope you’ve had a prosperous week and are feeling loved and refreshed. I’m currently looking at the start of a sunset, and honestly, the sky is such a show off in the best way possible. Also, the sky is totally not straight, right? Like I’m not the only person who looks at the sky every day and is like, “gay,” right? Of course the sky’s gay, it’s constantly giving us rainbows 🌈
I went for a walk around my neighborhood tonight and the sky was absolutely flaming pinks and oranges and purples all over the place. It was flamboyant, dramatic, completely over the top. I stopped and stared at it several times because that seemed like a better plan than walking and staring and tripping. It did not occur to me at the time that the sky was gay but in retrospect this is the obvious explanation. Now I will be able to see something gay any time I like as long as I have a window or can step outside. Excellent!
A mom at my kid’s gymnastics had a christian shirt about taking back the rainbow. I was so confused as to why we couldn’t share.
Wow, I had never seen this kind of shirt so I googled it, and they look very, very gay.

I would like to humbly submit that the sky is not only gay, but also nonbinary, given the lovely spectrum between day and night. I mean, come on, dusk, twilight, golden hour? Am I right?

I love to see more support groups/alliances for queer and trans youth springing up. I work for an org in Olympia that holds support groups in high schools during lunch time (and offers trainings for school staff) and the need for it is overwhelming. It needs to be everywhere.
