The Inauguration Stories I Want To Remember

+ I did not fucking watch the inauguration. I refuse to believe this isn’t what I missed.

+ Tim Kaine spent the night of the inauguration at a wedding. A gay wedding. A gay wedding which he officiated. How many times can I scream “DAD” before the world makes sense again and this man is VP. Also, how did I miss this. WHO FUCKED UP.

Links Donald Trump Probably Hates But You’ll Love

+ Here’s what you need to know about the stay on his executive order on immigration and refugees. (TL/DR: His order is f*cked, but the fight’s not all over.)

A Somali-born Canadian who came to Canada as a refugee, and has been a lawyer and human rights activist, his is a perfect appointment for this position.

Just wanted to highlight something positive in these dark times.

Thank you to all who are fighting, fighting for humanity, dignity and love.

  2. Since the world is completely burning, I declared Sunday Funday for myself today. No more Facebook or twitter or news or I will be destroyed.

So: I am watching season 6 of the good wife and kalinda has been sleeping with this fed lady and thus far they have played with each other’s hair AND sat around in matching satin pajamas and it’s cracking me up and I just thought I’d share it with you.

  3. “See, refugees are like a bowl-full of Skittles, where one is poisoned, but you don’t know which one. So, uh, that’s why we’re banning M&M’s.”

  4. I took a trip down memory lane with the civil rights and anti war marches of the sixties. Yes, we had them where I live too, I’ve still got the scars.
I can’t believe we have to do it all again.
