You’d be surprised how many single occupancy bathrooms I’ve found here that were needlessly gendered, and as someone who demands to use gender neutral bathrooms this is a win!
I just realized this law probably affects rest stop bathrooms and gas station bathrooms! Hooray!
Oh, no I get it, Al. They’re needlessly gendered all over the country. However, having lived all over the country I can say I’ve never once seen an issue of someone using a gendered single-stall bathroom even if their gender didn’t align with people’s stupid perceptions. I’ve never had any trouble with them, neither has anyone in my family of any gender or presentation.
All I’m saying is I want more protections for people who want to use the right bathroom when the only ones available are multi-person.
