Cameron is an illustrator hailing from Ohio. When she’s not drawing, she’s probably very, very quietly having loud thoughts about: queer things, her eventual shop, what to watch next on Netflix, food, names for her future pets, and tumblr.

Cameron has written 76 articles for us.

  1. I love all your comics, but I think this is my favorite. It’s so quietly beautiful. <3

  2. The ghosts of all the selves you’ve left behind, the people you used to be on the way to becoming who you are now.

  3. Not sure if this will help others, hope it doesn’t hinder anyone as its a strange one. A thought that helped from when I was wracked w stupid guilt over none bad things from the past, like making a fool of myself…

I’ve read that every seven years, your body has regenerated all its cells inc its brain cells. So if you don’t believe in the soul, you’re a whole new person every seven years.

(use this to absolve yourself of not being popular at secondary, that kind of thing)

  4. “Let’s go and see the place we lived before” my mother said cheerily, when I visited.
Her friend drove us, and while she chattered on, telling stories, I looked at walls and doors, at locks and hinges, and could not help but feel, that these places were haunted.
    With past versions of myself.
And while I can’t say these parts of me, these old selves, have passed on entirely,
there is another one, the current one, that grieves them deeply, nonetheless.

    • By which I mean I am struck mostly speechless by how wonderful and meaningful this is.
