  1. I work in tv and this is absolutely fabulous. Nothing like live tv to keep you on your toes.

ps..i wish autostraddle was a town i could move into see all of you every day. please, make it happen :)

  2. sometimes when I can’t sleep and it’s 2 am I like to youtube her and watch clips from her show. even though like 90% of her content is not even a little bit relevant to me, because I live very, very far away. it’s a bit like facebook stalking someone you’ve met once or twice and you think they’re amazing and so clever and then you realise that actually you have no mutual friends and nothing in common but you just. can’t. stop being a creeper.

Only less creepy because, obviously, I’m not actually stalking her. Sheesh.

  3. The last video I remember watching was the last lecture (or one of his last) lectures/speech given by Professor Randy Pausch on time management. Such a good video but bittersweet in the fact that Pausch is no longer with us. Here’s the link if you want to check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTugjssqOT0

Also you can download it on itunes. Trust me totes worth a viewing.

  4. That was freakin’ hilarious. I was howling with laughter for most of it. I never even paused it either, which I normally do with videos.

  5. This was awesome and now I’m distracted from studying stem cell biology because I have to see what else is on ‘The Rachel Maddow Show’ vimeo account.

    • Autostraddle is not a distraction. It’s like coffee for me; I need it in order to be fully awake and at least semi-productive.

      • Agreed. And it’s also like coffee in that’s it’s an addiction. But not a dangerous one or one that you really mind having.

  6. She tickles me. And this: “Susan, if we could walk just one day in your shoes.” this is so true. She is one lucky woman.

  7. I have never been so enthralled over such a simple, semi-commonplace story. I watched the whole time, and I normally pause videos as I’m watching too. I love Rachel Maddow. The end.
