Happy Hanukkah! Just kidding it’s over. But speaking of the Chosen People, are you interested in learning how to make your Jewish community a safer and more welcoming place for queers? The Keshet National Training Institute is working to eradicate homophobia and transphobia in Jewish communities, and with them you can “explore in-depth strategies and tools you can use to make your Jewish community more inclusive and affirming of LGBT Jews. Learn to use Keshet resources and create a detailed action plan for implementing programs in your institution. Upon completion of the three day training, you will join a network of talented and inspired Keshet-certified educators, youth workers, clergy, and community leaders across the country.” You can apply to participate in a training up until February 11, but the early-bird discount only applies through December 31, so get on it!
