Quiz: Which Gay Cartoon Character Are You?

If you know me, you know I think animated teevee is some of the best queer rep going these days. If you know me, you also know I have just always loved cartoons my whole entire life. So of course I had to make a quiz so you could figure out which gay* cartoon character you are. Not all the LGBTQ+ characters are here, not even close, and that’s tops blooby.

* By “gay” I mean: lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, wlw, LGBTQ+, etc. I’m using “gay” as a catch-all word here, the way many lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, wlw, LGBTQ+, etc. people do.

  1. “So, you have a different way of doing things, a different way of seeing things. That might make you weird, but it also makes you awesome. Don’t you see?”

  2. I got Peppermint Patty but I literally COULD NOT CHOOSE between those ‘90s albums. I ended up going with Janet, because I saw her on that tour when I was 14 and it honestly broke my little baby did-not-know-I-was-queer-yet brain. But all of them are so great. My 2nd choice would’ve been TLC. That album was my JAM.

  3. Finally there’s a TV thing where I actually know all the characters 🥺🥺🥺 (for reference: I don’t know any of the March Madness pairings that are still left except for Xena and Gabrielle) Also I got Scorpia! Yay~

  4. The more certain I was of the answer to each question, the less it resembled any of the available options. I got Peppermint Patty, which I suspect is the doesn’t-fit-any-of-the-other-possibilities result because that’s usually how this kind of thing ends up going.
