+ The shortlist for Catwoman in Robert Pattison’s forthcoming Batman movie includes Tessa Thompson, Lupita Nyong’o, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Alexandra Shipp, and Logan Browning.

+ The She-Ra panel at NYCC had everyone hyped, including Valerie Anne, who was there and relayed to me that there’s going to a character with they/them pronouns in season four, which lands on November 5th!

+ Big Mouth introduced Ali Wong’s pansexual character and, “included a really off-base summation of her sexuality, along with a dig at ill-informed dig bisexuals and the mishandling trans identity, all in the span of, like, less than two minutes.” The show’s creators have apologized.

+ Steven Universe has some new and grown-up opening credits.

  5. Who the heck gave Batwoman a B-? Were we watching the same show? I don’t know about y’all, but there was steam coming out my laptop every time Kate and Sophie were on-screen together.

    • I’m gonna blaspheme here and say this was a D+ for me.
      Way too much and inorganic exposition, which might be cause or effect of the bad pacing in the episode.
      I have a few other gripes, but I can’t quite put them into words yet, might need a rewatch of the episode for that.

      • I gave it a C, but I realized the first episode had a lot of plot lines to establish. I’m hoping the acting gets better. I winced at some dialogue delivery.

  7. While everyone swoons over Lena/Katie McGrath I find myself completely and utterly drawn toward Alex/Chyler Leigh.

    • Not just white feminism, but rich white feminism. Plus the fact many celebs, including Jenefer Garner, and Lenny Kravitz were celebrating this in the comment section of her FB post. ew

    • It’s peak idiocy and obliviousness, is what it is. There’s nothing feminist about it, she’s merely proving how out of touch she is from being super wealthy.
