This “reimagining” of the classic series stars Queen Latifah as “an enigmatic figure who uses her extensive skills to help those with nowhere else to turn.” Castle executive producers Andrew Marlowe and Terri Miller will pen the pilot, and original series co-creator Richard Lindheim is also onboard as an EP.

  1. I could swear I already saw a movie that had the exact same plot as Happiest Season, what the hell?

    • yep it’s called Lez Bomb by lesbian filmmaker Jenna Laurenzo. it is set during Thanksgiving rather than Christmas though?

      • Thanks, I knew I wasn’t crazy! I hope Happiest Season will be different, that male roommate storyline really annoyed me!

  2. Watching them walking carefully toward the house while everything is mostly silent made me want some kind of lesbian horror christmas rom-com.
