  1. this is perfect crystal! i love that you included temper trap and obvs the cat stevens song is the only way to end things. LOVElove.

  2. Crystal, I feel like you are the MacGuyver of playlists. Here’s a photo & a world of music…GO!

Seriously though – this is ace :)

  3. That picture reminds me of sitting on my best friend’s car and hanging out in fields during high school. Also reminds me of “Chain Link Fence” by Lucero, or pretty much anything from their Tennessee album. Drunken punk-flavored rockabilly ballads for my Southern-bred heart.

  4. She’s staring into my soul and seducing me with her eyes and making me want to cuddle up to her in the backseat.
    Playlist choices fit perfectly.

  5. That photo needs some Cadallaca, or maybe the Softies.

Ooops, this comment just outed me as old. :/

  6. This is a great playlist. I’m not sure any of them fits the picture for me, but I’ll think on it. Right now, I’m pretty vexed that I’ve been reminded of the awesomeness that is Megan Washington, and I have no idea how to get ahold of her music in the states (legally), for under 30-something dollars.

    Suggestions?

  7. Crystal, I love your playlists!
    I’d add these;
Broken bells – The high road
Blonde redhead – Misery is a butterfly

    :)

  8. That photo makes me think of Alynda Lee from Hurray for the Riff Raff.
Look them up on Youtube. So good. Perfect music for overcast weather. and cars. and girls.

  9. i am soo late on this but i’m listening to this now.

i’m kinda in love like soft happy love with this mix.

this cee-lo song is making me wanna wander thru a meadow with my wife.

i’ve never even seen a meadow IRL before that’s how magical this mix is.
