Playlist: Bear Has A Forty In The Freezer

Another day, another reason to make a playlist centered around one single word! Today the word is ‘bear,’ mostly because last time the word was ‘tiger’ and the time before that was ‘lion,’ and everybody loves a pattern. This playlist should be listened to with the windows open, late in the afternoon while you clean out your attic or make homemade enchiladas. Just make sure you’re keeping yourself busy so that when Kimya Dawson comes on, you won’t be ready for it. That part is crucial.

  1. Yay, more great music to listen to. Off to stream now!

    And I humbly submit:
    Bear Costume by Spirit Night

It is catchy and includes the line “You got a lot of nerve for someone with no spine.”

  2. i was almost eaten by a bear one time in wyoming. by that i mean i saw it and took a picture of it before it moseyed along. the bear song by green jelly (dumb and dumber soundtrack) is stuck in my head now.

  3. Fuzzy wuzzy was a bear
    Fuzzy wuzzy had no hair

My mom used to sing that to me back in the day when she still used to teach kindergarten, it’s about bears that are different.
