PHOTOESSAY: We F-cking Marched, Y’all

Either you marched or your entire social media feed was flooded with marches or both so I’ll spare you the write up; here’s what I saw from the ground in D.C.

The only note I’ll make (because I didn’t personally see this enough and if you did please post about it) is that we have to remember that the term “women” doesn’t dictate your size, color, or genitalia. We’re entering a time where we need to fundamentally grasp that so we can truly stand up for all of us.

Keep fighting, y’all.

  1. These are great! Molly, a friend of mine on the ground in DC was texting me updates from the march and she corroborates your observations about the (often exclusionary) way the term “woman” was being deployed. As you point out, moving forward it is So crucial to ensure that our organizing and movement building is inclusive, and truly striving for liberation for all. <3
