Description: Come hang out at Taylor Park for an End-of-Pride-Month celebration!

We will be gathered along the South end of the park, near the bathrooms, playground, and tennis courts.

This is a very low key meet-up, so no pressure. I will bring a set of bags and a ladder game set, some music, and a cooler full of water bottles because hydration is key. Let’s talk about what you did for Pride, your favorite TV shows, your hopes and dreams, WHATEVER.

Things to bring, if you want:
– a chair or blanket for maximum comfort
– non-alcoholic beverages (I will have water bottles)
– any snacks you might want
– games
– a friend!

Dogs are welcome in the park, as long as they are on a leash. Though, full disclosure, if there are dogs, I probably won’t speak to any humans.

Street parking is available along Elmwood Ave. CTA Bus 86 runs from the Ridgeland Green Line station and stops at Ridgeland & Division (right at the park!).

Accessibility Info: Taylor Park has a paved-sidewalk path throughout. I plan to set up our meeting area along that path.

There is a public restroom located in the park, though I am still awaiting full details about accessibility. Please contact me if you have questions or concerns.
