+ Everyone ever is really really sexy, especially you:

“I learned something very important while working in the adult industry. It is that everyone has their own market. There is someone for any fetish, body shape, size, sex, kink, you name it. Whatever you have, whatever you look like, whatever your talents, someone out there likes you. You are sexy to someone else, regardless of what you may think or someone else may tell you. You will always be sexy to another person even if you are not regarded as sexy by every person.”

+ Rachel Kramer Bussel on relationships and getting a second Hitachi magic wand:

“Even if it were possible for a person’s fingers or tongue to move at the speed of a motorboat, I don’t always want that kind of breakneck arousal from a fellow human being. Sometimes I want the warmth and passion of a lover, whether that means kissing, cuddling, nipple stimulation or oral sex (all of which, I must note, no vibrator can replicate). By the same token, sometimes I don’t want two-person sex. I want to be alone with my vibrator […] The more I use my vibrator, the better a mood I’m generally in, and the more aroused I become, which is what I’d call a win-win.”

+ Johnnie Vega on the first Hitachi she used:

“When I brought it home, the first thing I did was use it on every part of my body other than my genitals. I spent a good hour massaging my back, neck, feet, thighs, arms, and hands. I spent some time doing other really sexy things like: putting the Hitachi between my eyes and watching the room wobble, and seeing how long I could stand it on the tip of my nose before I had to sneeze. After I had amused myself for long enough, I decided to use it for what I bought it for: MASTURBATION.

Wow, just wow. And just like that (even though I had technically already paid for it), I was sold.”

+ Lesbian Curves, a new lesbian porn film by Courtney Trouble and featuring Kelly Shibari, Betty Blac, Sophia St James, Sandy Bottoms, Kitty Stryker, Peppermint Fatty and Eden Alexander, will be available January 15. According to TROUBLEfilms:

“Lesbian Curves is a full-length vignette-style feature that showcases curvaceous women getting each other off with bountiful body worship and hardcore sex.

On the shelf next to your best-selling Lesbian or BBW porn titles, Lesbian Curves fits right in with either, while also standing out on it’s own as a premier title that blends the two genres with perfect cohesion.”

+ Em & Lo are aware of The Real Reasons Yoga Helps Your Sex Life:

Yoga helps you become more aware of and more in touch with your body, often through the practice of mindful meditation while you work out. I know what you’re thinking: Hold the oms, I just want to get in shape. But there’s an awesome side effect to all this body awareness: You learn to listen to what your body wants and likes.

+ This list of the greatest science fiction porn movies of all time is surprisingly comprehensive:

“Science fiction has long encompassed every aspect of human experience — including sex. For as long as we’ve dreamed of going to space, we’ve dreamed of getting it on there. And porn has embraced science fiction as well — from 1968s softcore masterpiece Barbarella to the 1990s cyberpunk boom to the recent craze for porn spoofs, there has always been science fiction porn. After all, porn is an escapist genre when you get right down to it. And the line between a science fiction ‘B’ movie and a softcore porn film is often more seethru than Jane Fonda’s breast bubbles.”

+ Sugarbutch’s open relationship mini interview series continues. An interview with Dire has the following advice:

“Don’t sleep with your roommate(s).Never compromise your morals, convictions, or safe practices for anyone.
Remember that the health and emotional wellbeing of you and your mate is paramount.
Don’t use an open relationship to fill the gaps in your current relationship, or to transition to a new person.
Don’t have sex with a lot of people just because you can. An open relationship isn’t an invitation or an obligation to be promiscuous.
Don’t use an open relationship as a way to compete with your mate sexually. If you’re having vindictive or equalizing sex, you’re gone astray.
Always be completely open with your mate. This will save you so much strife.
Always play safe.
Remember to put your relationship first, and playing with others somewhere down the list.
Be mindful of playing with people who are, for one reason or another, emotionally vulnerable. Don’t play will people who will get attached, or angry for one reason or another, or jealous, or otherwise be unable to handle being part of your open relationship. This will take some practice, but trust your gut and learn from your mistakes.
An open relationship isn’t accountable to anyone but those in it with regards to what you’re comfortable with. Just because other couples or individuals are comfortable with something, that doesn’t mean you need to, or that your open relationship is somehow inferior to theirs, even if you never become comfortable with a given practice. Whatever you and your mate are comfortable with in any given moment is what’s right for you, and there’s nothing wrong with that moving more or less open.”

+ Leather Ever After: An Anthology of Kinky Fairy Tales, edited by Sassafras Lowrey, is now available on ebook and will be available in print in January. From “The Suitor,” by Miel Rose:

“Torin’s blazing hands reached for her linen under skirt, shoving it aside and spreading her legs wide. Her fingertips slipped between the folds of her nether lips and found her sodden and swollen. Marri writhed, thrusting herself against Torin’s burning finders. They slipped inside her, stretching her open and feeling like a brand. Marri screamed, slamming her head against the stones of the floor. Her body was on fire, her blood replaced with molten flame. Pain and the most tormenting pleasure she had ever experienced fought along her nerves. Blackness threatened to swallow her vision as the overwhelming sensations emanating from Torin’s fingers deep inside of her. Her body was seized by powerful convulsions and she arched into her lover, giving herself over. Finally Marri’s muscles relaxed one by one, and she lay still and exhausted on the stones.”

And from “The Good Witch,” by (Autostraddle’s) Ali Oh:

“Her hand was on my leg and moving up, each finger climbing goose bump by goose bump toward where I had been radiating heat since she locked me up. I tried to move my hand to the back of her neck. From there I would have grabbed the sensitive hair that made such a perfect handle at the base of her head and brought her to her knees. But my hands would not move farther out than my nose.”

  1. Although I’ve only taken a semester of beginner’s yoga, I can testify that it is great for your sex life! It’s especially helpful for people (like me) who spend way too much time in their heads instead of being in tune with their bodies. Plus, more flexibility in bed can never hurt. ;)
