No Filter: Demi Lovato Smooches in the New Year With Jojo Gomez

Welcome to the first ever 2018 edition of No Filter, a once-weekly foray into the world of queer celebrity social media. This week, we were blessed with the briefest of Twitter interactions between our friend and yours Brittani Nichols and Room star Brie Larson.

Noted smooth operator Nichols was of course immediately prepared with an acceptance speech:

It’s not often that the hottest story No Filter will ever break happens during the first post of the year. We wish these two the absolute best, and may they live happily ever after.

Happy New Year!! 🎊

I have nothing funny to say about Danielle Brooks’ New Years lewks.

News you can use.

I would like to imagine this is the sequel to Jasika being lost in the woods last week.

I’m here to tell you that Demi Lovato’s midnight kiss on New Years was with Jojo Gomez and not me, which seems rude but alright.

Honestly I’m pretty much here for everybody’s New Years midnight kiss; mine was with a cardboard cutout.

Writing partners.

These two have been working together in some capacity; Carrie is responsible for the amazing interview snippets Annie posted on her Instagram promoting her new record. Are they getting back together?! WHO CAN KNOW???

Doesn’t look like anything to me.

  1. Props to ERW for keeping her instincts in check and refraining from tackling this particular Man In Black to the ground, beating his dusty old ass, and tossing him down a staircase like a used napkin. Way to stay on narrative, girl!

  2. Now that Portlandia is done filming, I am assuming Carrie and Annie will be making sweet music together. Maybe something really queer and awesome!

  3. And then there are those of us who were texting our New Year’s kisses because a) our partners are several hundred miles away and b) our town was 5 degrees that night and we were sure as heck not going out to kiss anyone in that weather.
