I am a grad student of Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada, pursuing my MA in Fashion. I am a fashion warrior who works to challenge assumptions about fashion and those are love it. I am passionate about dress as a mediator of gender and sexual difference and the role clothing plays in the communication of identity, specifically in the LGBTQ community. As a queer femme, I feel a personal connection to issues of self-representation and (in)visibility. Other subjects that interest me are: historical costume, contemporary media studies and social justice.
