Los Angeles/Southern California 9/3: LBTQ Beach Day – Labor Day Edition

Venue: Dockwiler State Beach
Event Date: 2017-09-03
Start Time: 12:00 pm
End Time: 09:00 pm

Host: Al

Description: People had such a blast (I included) at the last one that I decided to organize a second beach day. This time it will be on Labor day weekend, so I know some of you maybe out of town or can’t make it and that’s understandable. But, this also gives those who do have the weekend off to come and hang out in a safe environment. It will more than likely be at the same beach in and around the same spot as the last event, but that may change to go with the group consensus.

It will be POTLUCK style where someone brings something to share (like last time, and thank to whomever brought the cute rainbow rice Krispy treats). Please keep in mind there may be vegan and gluten free people who go to these events. So, not all the food has to be vegan or gluten free friendly but preferred some of it be. Also, if you bring alcohol make sure it’s covered and in non-clear cups, don’t want people to get in trouble. Lots of wood is always a bonus for the bonfire/food. Most importantly this is safe and consent space, so feel free to wear however you feel comfortable wearing.

Exact location of which pit(s) I will be announced day of the event as its a first come first serve basis. Parking is also available for free in the street overlooking the beach. It’s also near lax so you may see a ✈ or two flying by. If you need a ride it’s suggested to ask before the event.

Last note if people want we can afterwards go an lgbtq/queer up a restaurant in the area for dinner as an option or go to Weho.
