A couple of weeks ago, we told you about Little Horribles. Now, the second episode is here and ready to be seen by you and your friends and your exes and your mom when she sneaks into your room to see what you’ve been cackling about. This one features my comedy mistress, Ilana Glazer of Broad City (Chelsea Peretti is my comedy wife in case you were wondering).
Written and created by Amy York Rubin, Little Horribles is a darkly comedic web series following the poor decisions of a self-indulgent lesbian. The series chronicles all those things that really aren’t that big of a deal and follows Amy as she navigates her thirties in Los Angeles. Hailed as the “Lesbian Girls” (by some lesbians in Silverlake) the show rips apart and laughs in the face of those painfully uncomfortable moments that no one wants to remember, but everyone does.

Ok, usually awkward things make me physically uncomfortable and I have to pause them over and over again until I can deal, but this somehow works for me, maybe cause it feels awkward in a real way and also cause it’s hilarious.
Haha, I thought that was only me. I really can’t handle what I call second-hand embarrassment or awkwardness. I usually pause or change the channel for a few seconds until its over, but for this video it was so too funny/relatable to stop watching

i thought it would be funny to type “LOL” here but also my identity as a person who NEVER types LOL, LMFAO or ROFL in g-chats (i prefer “haha”) is so central to who i am as a person that i couldn’t bring myself to betray that
I started using LOLZ ironically and now I’m worried that it’s no longer ironic and just a thing I do. It’s time to rein that in. Is this how hipsters feel?
I was a strictly “haha” chatter, but LOL and LLOL (‘literally laughing out loud’, yes I’m that douche) made their way into my conversations…am I bitextual?

b. ilana glazer was in a poetry workshop i took at nyu and whenever i see her doing badass awesome stuff these days i always get really excited even though we don’t actually know each other and had approximately 6 interactions throughout the semester most of which consisted of each of us saying hello to the other
