Laura is a tiny girl who wishes she were a superhero. She likes talking to her grandma on the phone and making things with her hands. Strengths include an impressive knowledge of Harry Potter, the ability to apply sociology to everything under the sun, and a knack for haggling for groceries in Spanish. Weaknesses: Chick-fil-a, her triceps, girls in glasses, and the subjunctive mood. Follow the vagabond adventures of Laura and her bike on twitter [@laurrrrita].

  1. Nonono, don’t ecourage me! It’s still only the week running up to finals and already I’ve made two pans of brownies, a double batch of cookies, and an Oreo no-bake.

    Fffffffffff.

  2. So, is it evil if I pretend I didn’t read this? Because the tomboy makes a big old fuss whenever she makes me tiny baby cupcakes from scratch, and I kind of like it. It’s a fuss! I like a fuss. This is, like, no fuss. Who wants that?!

PS. Every single month, without fail, the big red flag that my period is going to come and bitchslap me across the face is a sudden, gripping urge to bake. Ever since I was a mere teenager. True story.
