i really liked the episode with the Joan of Arc-like character: Crusader. It was dark and complex and i appreciated that the characters had to evaluate their ethics…what is right, who decides that, where’s the line? i love when the writers do that.

really, though, i love the entire 5th and 6th seasons. Gabby with short hair! :)

LOL, I was 12 when I found my dad watching this one day (season 2). I stood mesmerized for about 5 minutes before he suggested I sit down. A few weeks later I saw the the episode “A Day In The Life” by myself. When the episode was over I finally knew I was gay.

i did, too. everyday after school. it was a special thing for me that made me feel okay before i knew why i needed it. also, xena and gabrielle kick ass.

I used to watch it with my mom every Saturday. It was the show that gave me a lifelong appreciation for “musical episodes”.
