I’m studying Musical Theatre at NYU, and I work part-time at the York Theatre Company, an off-Broadway theatre that has produced awesome homogay musicals like “Yank!”

Hello theatre-straddlers. Is this a good name for our kind? I’m a recent college grad trying to find somewhere to live and make theatre as a writer/director/actor/arts journalist. Especially considering San Francisco and Bay Area. Does anyone have connections to share?

i don’t have connections, but i did a bit of research about theater in that area when i was pipe-dreaming about interning there last spring. let me know if you want a list of links to theaters i thought were cool in that area (i mean, definition of cool depends on what type of work you’re into, obviously, but still)!
