Hi! I’m moving to Ottawa at thr end of summer. Any advice on neighborhoods to live in?

the Glebe is really nice and full of small shops/restaurants and close to parks and the canal – this would be my top pick of places to live.

Going to Ottawa in a month for a 3 month internship! I’ve never been before. Any suggestions of things to see and do? Would love to meet some new people while I’m there!

The Byward Market is brilliant, lots of pubs and shopping there. Also the Lookout, ladies night is Friday. Our village is on Bank st, but there isn’t very much there. There are all kinds of museums and Parliament is awesome to visit.

I’ll be interning at the Senate from late June to the beginning of September, so I’m looking to meet people too. I have friends who live or have lived in Ottawa, and in addition to museums, galleries and history, there are apparently a ton of summer festivals (including Capital Pride).

Capital Pride could be fun. Too bad it’s not until later in the summer (I’m only here through til Canada Day). I’ve seen a museum/Gallery almost every weekend since I got here though. Good luck with the internship!
