By the way, I recently heard the phrase “byke” as a term for a bisexual woman who is more inclined toward women, or is in a lesbian relationship, or things like that. What do bi ladies think of the term “byke”?

There is def a lot of bi hate in the gay community, which sucks…but there are also a lot of straight girls who get drunk, kiss lesbians, and then run away screaming…NOTE TO LESBIANS those girls aren’t bi. They’re drunk straight girls. There IS a difference.

I can only assume that they have not yet realised that EVAN RACHEL WOOD BISEXUAL is a thing.
More seriously, I don’t really understand hostility to bis, it just doesn’t compute that someone can accept heterosexuality and lesbian / gay sexuality while rejecting everything in between. I look pretty noticeably feminine and I am not visibly ‘queer’…[Read more]

I find that the worst ones are gay men. they just flat out say to me “you are not bisexual cause it doesnt exist. you’re still evolving and soon won’t even look at men anymore.”
and I’m left with the same reaction: how can NOT understand that sexuality is fluid, when you’re gay yourself?

Yes! A lot of the gay men I know told themselves they were ‘bisexual’ to try and avoid confronting their homosexuality, and they project that experience on to other bis… if anything they are even harder on bi men than women.

Whenever people tell me bisexuality doesn’t exist, I tell them that I slept with both their brother and their sister, and they would totes disagree with you.
