Gal Pal Watch: Gillian Anderson Breaks Up with Peter Morgan, Rebounds With Cute Brunette

Noted FBI agent, medical doctor, root of Kate McKinnon and bisexual angel of light Gillian Anderson has reportedly split from her beau, British writer Peter Morgan. Among other things, Morgan is lauded as the creator and showrunner of The Crown, which also featured Anderson as former prime minster Margaret Thatcher in its most recent season. Morgan and Anderson were said to have been in a relationship for four years, often seen supporting one another at red carpets at award shows. It is believed that the pair separated amicably and will remain friends.

However, not three days after this news broke, Anderson was seen snuggling with a mysterious brunette. The scandal rocked the tabloid world to its very core, but it wasn’t long before Anderson went public with her new paramour:

Life comes at you fast, I guess. While to the casual observer it may seem that Anderson is merely rebounding, she seems to have made a considerable commitment to her new and very public partner. Stella joins Anderson’s French bulldog Nelson, so I guess they have some kind of poly situation going on. More power to you, Gillian, Nelson, and Stella, I hope the three of you are very happy together!

  1. Saw a similar headline on another website about “her new gf Stella” and felt a brief moment of excitement before I thought, “It’s going to be a dog, isn’t it?”

I guess my dog-dar is still flawless. (Or at least closer to flawless than my new word dog-dar)
