Dickens

I am a queer coparenting mama to Dickens Jr. Doodler by day, 911 dispatcher by night. All my favorite shows look better on Tumblr. I am two years and 450K words deep into constructing a fanfic called Ages and I'm never giving up on it. Bering & Wells.

  1. That was really cute, Dickens!

For a long time, I thought the words to that song were:

It’s gonna take a lot to drag me away from you!
There’s nothing that a hundred men on Mars could ever do!
I guess the rain’s down in Africa!

  2. so excited!!! such a cute illustration style. do you also write? i would love to learn more abt your super cute queer fam situation!

    • I write a looooot but it’s all fan fiction. Haven’t quite jumped into writing a bunch about coparenting but I’d really love to someday. Will definitely be drawing more about it in the future.

  3. Just here to echo the excitement, and to say that of course you should explore whatever themes you want and the comics will be awesome, but if you were to talk about co-parenting with a straight person I would be very interested.

  4. This was so adorable! I can’t wait for whatever comes next!

(PS: Your super talented and I like your humor and your pretty pictures and all of it)

  5. This was great! I think next time I am singing along to Toto I will change the line to that. :+)

    • Thank you, KaeLyn! And congratulations. If you ever want to talk about parenting/pregnancy nonsense, please hit me up!

  6. I love your Bering and Wells comics on Tumblr, so it’s really exciting to see you here on Autostraddle! Welcome!
