Emily’s Team Pick: A Bunch of Mice go to a Party

A bunch of mice go to a party and do lots of drugs. You get to be the scientist and see what happens to your brain when you use different kinds of drugs. It’s sciencey and interactive and fun and you might feel like you know something after. I like it ’cause you get to pick up the mice.

Emily Choo started as an intern with Autostraddle when she was 18 years old. She's now 10 years older and lives in Toronto with her partner and cat. The defining moment of her career was when Riese said this about her: " I think Emily Choo is a very bright, 'poetically inclined' girl who pays attention to everything and knows almost everything (the point of stuff, how to read, how beautiful things feel, how scary things feel, etc.) but doesn't believe/accept/realize yet that she knows almost everything." She still doesn't believe she knows anything, so, thank you, Riese, for that.

Emily has written 100 articles for us.

  1. Okay, so the awesome thing about this is that I was able to name each mouse after which one of my bffs is represents. I am not sure what that says about my friend group. We are super fun and cool? I am the alcohol mouse. My bff the weed mouse has presented me with a 30 day no substance challenge. I am starting a blog to chronicle my attempt to stay sober, which I think will be a total disaster. But according to what was said when I dropped the alcohol mouse into the machine, it might be for the best to at least try. So educational.
