+ The CW’s new superhero show, Gotham Knights, by CW’s favorite lesbian writer Natalie Abrams will have a bisexual character OBVIOUSLY: “Harper Row … [a] streetwise, acerbic and often underestimated, the blue-haired bisexual is a gifted engineer who can fix anything.”] It lands on October 25th! Harper will be played by Fallon Smythe.
+ Watching Euphoria makes Jodie Comer feel like she’s a hundred years old too.

+ Disney employees are furious the company won’t denounce Florida’s Don’t Say1 Gay bill. (You will remember that Disney DID denounce Georgia’s homophobic legislation in 2016, which is a huge deal due to Marvel filming so much in Atlanta, and makes this Florida thing especially weird and gross!)

I’m going to reserve judgement on Gotham Knights. The CW’s track record is kind of spotty. Avalance is great on Legends, but I still remember the Zarlie fiasco. Josie’s love life on Legacies was just appalling. And I don’t think that I need to elaborate on Supergirl.
I’m just really happy this show doesn’t exist in the Arrow-verse, I’m kind of done with it, apart from ‘Legends of Tomorrow’. We desperately need a fresh start! I think Natalie having a clean slate will definitely help.
I mean, Harper might have blue hair. But what about pronouns? Does Harper have blue hair *and* pronouns?
Oh they’re bringing in Harper Row? That’s neat. I’ve been very iffy about that show based off the description. Especially because you’re doing a show about the children of Batman villains and Stephanie Brown isn’t going to be one of them? Come on now. Maybe this could turn out good but I guess we’ll see.

As of an hour ago, the New York Times just reported that Disney’s CEO just took a stand against the Don’t Say Gay bill and will be meeting with DeSantis. It’s a little fucking late, but hopefully since FL runs on Disney money this will have some leverage.
Huh. Didn’t they contribute a ton of money to backers of the bill? I find it very hard to believe this isn’t just an empty gesture to appease their critics.
