for me personally sometimes I will ask someone out even if I know that they will say no just so my brain knows it’s 100% no and I need to stop thinking about them. Probably not always the smartest thing to do but for me it’s a way of moving on.

I agree with the above commenter that you shouldn’t spill the beans yet. Go out and meet other girls.
